OC Navigators, a community-based adult day program, provides person-centered opportunities for adults to develop life skills and engage meaningfully in their community. Their existing website needed a fresh look, improved usability, and—most importantly—full accessibility compliance to ensure it served every visitor equally.
I redesigned the site on WordPress,giving the brand a boost and bright, uplifting colors to create a welcoming, easy-to-navigate experience. The new layout highlights their programs, mission, and community impact, while making it simple for families, caregivers, and partners to find essential information.
A major focus was ensuring the site passed accessibility scans and met WCAG standards. I implemented proper heading structures, high-contrast color choices, descriptive alt text, accessible form fields, and keyboard-friendly navigation.
The result is a clean, vibrant, and fully inclusive website at ocnavigators.org that reflects the organization’s values and makes their services more reachable for the community they serve.
